In order to make your NERD experience a smooth one, here are some guidelines and tips to help you navigate #NERD2023 on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023!

What you need to know to be a successful participant in NERD 2023

Parking

We are very excited to be hosting NERD in person again! It will take place at McMaster University campus at the Peter George Centre for Living and Learning (#89 on the map: https://parking.mcmaster.ca/app/uploads/2020/11/Campus-Map-2018-90X39-01.pdf). 

 

The closest parking to PGCLL is lot B, C, D, G and Stadium Underground. Public transit is also available. For more information, including rates and directions to McMaster University, please visit: https://parking.mcmaster.ca/visitor/ and  https://discover.mcmaster.ca/directions/\

Please note: Sterling Street will be closed for the summer, which will impact your arrival to campus. Please give yourself enough time to use the King Street and Forsyth Avenue detour route. Daily Rate (Full Day) is $20

Registration & Food

Upon arrival to PGCLL, please visit the NERD Registration Table in the Ground level Main Lobby (near the West Entrance) to check in and receive your name tag. Registration opens at 8:30AM.

Morning coffee/snacks and lunch will be provided. In the registration we ask that folks provide any dietary restrictions. We will do our best to ensure we meet everyone’s needs. Catering cannot guarantee any interaction with nuts and other ingredients that may be sensitive to some.
